All Wrong

WHEN THINGS GO WRONG, DON’T GO WITH THEM
— ANONYMOUS

THAT MOMENT YOU WRITE A VERY LONG BLOG ABOUT LACKING INSPIRATION AND YOU TALK ABOUT HOW WE GET CONTENT WITH WHERE WE ARE AND WE WONDER WHEN THE NEXT BIG THING IS GOING TO COME WHEN WE HAVEN'T SPENT QUALITY TIME WITH GOD....AND YOUR COMPUTER BLACKS OUT AND COMES BACK ON AND YOUR ENTIRE BLOG IS GONE.

You get angry, you want to slam your laptop shut and sulk about how it's been over a month since you've been inspired to  write. You've sat in silence waiting on God for a month to inspire you to write something and finally you find inspiration in your lack of inspiration and you write about it. You are upset, you're mad. You question God on why he would give you something and then remove it. And then it hits you.

That inspiration that you've been searching for you just needed to take time to be inspired. Sometimes we get so angry and upset when things happen to us that we don't take the time to let it inspire us. In that moment when I realized my blog post was deleted, I literally wanted to slam the computer shut and never blog again. (DramatiK right?) I searched for ways to bring it back in anger and I just wanted to understand why God would give me such good word and not allow me to share it.... Because it was for me and it was bigger than lacking inspiration.

When things go wrong, we often go with it. We allow it to fluster us, frustrate us, and ruin our day. We wonder all of the ways we could have avoided the situation and how IF it hadn't have happened we could have magically had the perfect experience. In my mind the "No Inspiration" blog post was about to change lives, it could have, but that's not what was meant for me.

The lesson in this encounter is to be positive even when negative things happen because something greater may be in store. Keep running and see. All things work together for the good.

Be Blessed.
